Custom designs
Recently, there has been a strong trend towards more individual and creative designs. Instead of using conventional approaches, designers experiment with how the information is structured, how it is presented to the user.
In these “non-boxed” designs, creativity is often more important and memorable than attention to detail. However, ease of use, typography and visual design are rarely forgotten and also carefully work through these points. Creative designs are often used for portfolios, websites of advertising agencies and promotional sites (commercial events of large companies), as well as very popular in blogs.
When it comes to creativity, the line between a convenient and not convenient user interface is very thin, so usability testing is of particular importance – after all, a creative approach can harm the site. Continue reading
